Here is a picture of UT1 (SCW) Shannon and I at the US Navy Seabee Ball. We had a fun weekend hanging out with all of the guys Shannon went to Iraq with. The dressing up part of the whole weekend was that much fun. The meal wasn't good (might of been because we were the last table chosen to go get our food off the buffet table) and it was pretty boring. They had beer and other drinks that we had to purchase for $4 a beer and $5 for a mixed drink. Needless to say that didn't last long with the guys! We ditched the ball and went and had our own drinks outside the pool area. The hotel was real nice about letting sit at the outside sun area even when the pool was closed. Don't know that we will do the ball again but might go just to hang with everyone at the hotel!!
